Generali, this is a good place. In the past it was one of the best - and many good things still there... BUT! First of all, there is an obvious lack of trained personnel. It’s not Renaissance that you know! Too many small and other mistakes, like no help with luggage, not clear explanation of the hotel options and services, not clear understanding of how to work with standard business reporting documents. But what worries most the rules for Covid-19 here are not strict right at my view a few people without any masks where entering and going out, and no one said a word. And it’s quite common for that place - only after painting attention the guard and reception started to do something , but just for a moment . Once a “crazy guest” left it’s all goes as usual . In the 3rd floor the hand sterilization was empty, and it staid empty all my stay so no one controlling that and taking it seriously. No disinfection tunnel at the entrance or other important things. At once a question is the room service taking it seriously? Question mark. The other point is that in such a hotel you can never see a carpet in a business room , totally spoiled with some terrible stains! But here they are, everywhere ... one last thing - better to close an open door swimming pool during the winter time, not just leave it as it is without water the view is not good. Still - great sea view is left here, lots of things are done properly and some people at reception are trying to do their best. But this place needs attention... or take Renaissance sign off! - GsoonlyFirst thing first is that hotel looks very old. Carpets, furniture, curtains needs some makeover. Secondly, staff; both front office and f&b need some training on basics of service. Thirdly, food itself. Breakfast was included, but every time it felt like it was left overs from yesterday. I know it is Covid times and distance and stuff, but to get attention of waiters you need to start dancing cha-cha-cha in the middle of the restaurant. They do anything to avoid you. To get a coffee, you need to go the bar and start to stare in everyone's eyes to get noticed, however I didn't see that they are short of staff, they just walk around trying to look busy.
